# Métis

> Métis is a bespoke symbolic intelligence system created by Mark Falzon. It reads the patterns of a person's life with precision and care and reflects them back as a private written transmission — a "mythic mirror" for leaders standing at the edge of their next becoming. It is not therapy, coaching, or a personality assessment; it is recognition.

Métis draws on 45 years of Mark Falzon's lived practice in archetypal psychology, narrative therapy, developmental psychology, and symbolic perception. The name comes from the Greek *mētis*, the cunning intelligence carried by navigators, healers, and founders — the spiral path of the river rather than the straight line of the sword.

## The process

1. Application — a curated intake form (twenty to thirty minutes of reflection).
2. Source Review — Mark Falzon reviews each application personally alongside any public material provided.

4. Drafting — a draft transmission is produced with AI as assistant and Mark as symbolic author.
5. Refinement — the draft is refined to the published Métis standard.
6. Delivery — the finalised transmission is delivered as a private document.
